    Itinerary :

    1. Greet and meet at MRT Yuanshan Station.

    2. Visit Bao-An Temple, Confucius Temple, Lin An-Tai Historical House

    Bao-an Temple is Taipei’s most beautiful shrine. Though there are many deities enshrined here, the principal figure is Bao-shen Da-di, regarded as a god of medicine. The temple won a UNESCO conservation award in 2003 in recognition of the incredible restoration work completed in the 1990s.

     

    Confucius is the greatest teacher in the history of ever because his opinion of education without discrimination. Different from other colorful temples, Confucius Temple is relatively peaceful. Taipei’s Confucius Temple is best known for hosting the world’s most authentic annual celebration of Confucius birthday on September 28.

     

    Lin An-Tai Historical House & Museum is a traditional Chinese courtyard house with elegant decorations and is one of the few traditional houses preserved in northern Taiwan. It is famous for its delicate carvings; one of the examples is the creative dragon carving on the front door.

    Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a shrine to commemorate CKS, former President of Taiwan. The magnificent white building is located in the east side of the park where a guard changing ceremony happens hourly at the upper floor. On the other side of the park, is the two of Taiwan’s premier performing arts venue, the National Theater and the National Concert Hall. The traditional palace structure with gold roof and red colonnade becoming one of the most significant landmarks in Taipei.
    6. Visit Dihua Street
    Dihua Street was the commercial area in Taipei hundred years ago, especially for the tea, Chinese herbal medicince, and fabrics. By walking along the street, its prosperity still seems to be seen via the extravagant Baroque architectures. Those historical houses will immerse you into the nostalgic atmosphere and bring you back to the past.
